Can't mod the animation, though. Maybe the sprite you see as they activate it above their head, but that's why you see spell effects like that in the first place: So they're easier to spot.

The fact that the character's texture does not change to a new "activation texture" during skill activation. You can only change textures that already exist in the game; you cannot add new ones. The most you could do in this respect would be to make the "magical casting animation" more noticeable than it already is. And -- newsflash! -- that's not exactly antithetical to the way the game's supposed to be played. A-net gave every skill its own unique casting animation and sound specifically to encourage people to learn them and be able to throw their interrupts on sight.

Hello. I farm as a 600hp and have a ranger with spirits also. I commonly run outside of the distance of the spirits. Would I be able to mod a circle on my radar around any /\'s on my radar? maybe replace all the /\'s for large circles?

in reference: http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Image:RadarRanges.jpg

The Spirit Radar mod on the wiki is ugly.

Try Chthon's components mod.

Spirit Radar in that mod looks like so:

Second installment here with other mods, if you're interested.

To be honest, I tend to prefer this mod package (Meta's Improved Interface):

Theoretically nothing. I've made a few mods similar to the one you mentioned already, such as making certain animation more visible by changing the colours/textures. The difference they make is probably pretty negligible and in this stage of the game I doubt anyone really cares.

Some people don't seem to understand this program one bit. The rez sig would have to change your character texture which it doesnt actually do does it. There have been known for some popular skill animation images to change to "please interupt now" images though
To be honest if you need that to help you in a RA match you seriouisly have problems.

I'm sorry to dig this thread up, but I'm looking for a mod that will beef up my friends list.

I mean allow me to create categories or labels or *something* in order for me to organize all of the people I have on my list. Is there anything that exists to help me do this? Can anyone make a mod like this?

You do realise this is texture modding program...how would that work for categorising names? sorry, i don't think its possible with this program. Maybe other programming but Anet would not allow that

As miloir said: TexMod can only change the way things look (and in a limited fashion) - it can't add functionality.

Note for those reading:
Windows 7 somehow interferes with Texmod's function.
Although Texmod will launch GW, no modifications will take place.
Be aware of this before upgrading to the RC, if it is of concern to you.
